1月16日,中央電視臺新聞直播間節目報道,廣州南沙海關緝私局破獲特大跨境電商走私案。走私團伙通過跨境電商與一般貿易的方式,先后走私美國婕斯公司產品貨值約7億美元,折合人民幣40多億元。包括婕斯公司大中華區總裁、臺灣人李偉行(Robin Lee)在內的25名犯罪嫌疑人被抓捕,現場查扣涉案貨物484萬盒,價值20多億元人民幣。目前該案已由緝私部門移送檢察機關依法審查起訴。
美國婕斯公司主要經營以白藜蘆醇為原料的保健品、化妝品等所謂的“抗衰老”系列產品,其產品并沒有取得在中國的銷售資質。
2015年婕斯公司在上海注冊了一家生物科技有限公司,經營范圍是財產管理,但并沒有產品銷售。為使其產品進入中國內地市場,婕斯公司以包稅方式委托給香港天一物流公司。香港天一物流公司又找到廣州瑞藏貿易有限公司,以跨境電商模式進口貨物。
廣州瑞藏貿易有限公司通過違法手段獲取公民身份信息進行跨境電商購買,香港天一物流公司則將貨物快遞給婕斯公司的境內客戶。此外,其向海關申報的沛泉果汁的價格是50元人民幣一盒,實際銷售給國內客戶的價格是600多元人民幣一盒,走私進口獲利巨大。經鑒定,沛泉果汁也沒有所謂宣傳的抗氧化、抗衰老的保健功效,屬于虛假宣傳。
